City Receives LARM Safety Grant

Atkinson Maintenance Department Employee Travis SchmitzThe City of Atkinson recently received a $500 Lean on LARM Safety Grant to purchase a cordless saw.
According to Shelly Weineke, City of Atkinson Deputy Clerk/Treasurer, the item would be safer for the city's maintenance crew when they were doing tree trim work from the city's bucket truck.
League Association of Risk Management (LARM) provides the safety grant to member cities to purchase safety items for their community.
