City of Atkinson Seeking Full-Time Police Officers
Full-Time Police Officer
The City of Atkinson, Nebraska, is currently accepting applications for full-time police officers. Atkinson is located along Highway 20 in Holt County and is part of the beautiful Sandhills. The city has about 1,400 residents.
Applicants must be a citizen of the United States, at least 21 years old, possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate, have a valid Nebraska driver’s license, be of good moral character with no felony or serious misdemeanor convictions, and be in good physical condition.
Certified law enforcement officers are preferred but all applications will be considered. Uncertified applicants must meet admission requirements for the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center.
Applicants must be willing to work a variety of shifts to include nights, weekends, and holidays. Pay rate is dependent on education, qualifications, training, and experience.
