Atkinson Downtown Sidewalk Project Begins May 31
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe City of Atkinson’s downtown sidewalk project will begin May 31. FCF Construction, Inc. of O’Neill was awarded the bid in the amount of $287,174.20. The city worked with its engineering company Miller & Associates as well as Central Nebraska Economic Development to implement the project.
The city will be installing sidewalks on the westside of Main Street from Something Special by Marilyn to the end of Wm. Krotter’s buildings. Eastside will include from Braun’s Food Center to the bank parking lot north of Corkledings Fitness.
