Solar Street Light Project Recipient of ACE Refund

Retiring Clerk Nancy Kopejtka presents the 2022 ACE refund check to Mayor Josh Ericson in the amount of $3,996. The Solar Street Light Project was the recipient of this year’s ACE refund. Newly appointed City Clerk Shelly Wieneke holds a sign showing the amount of funding the City of Atkinson has received from the ACE refund program.

To date, the total is $36,430. Community enhancement projects funded in the past include support for youth programs, improvement to the community pool complex and park, education signs for the Bluebird Nature Trail at Mill Race Park and campsite upgrades.
